Description:
 Think you've got what it takes to become Australia's next poetry slam champion? Step onto the Butterbox Theatre stage at Kingston Butter Factory Cultural Precinct! All you need is an original poem and 2 minutes on the mic to win over your audience. Two competitors will win the chance to perform at the Queensland State Final in October. A free slam workshop will also be held between 3.30 pm to 5 pm. Join spoken word artist, Angela Peita, for some tips and tricks to get you ready to rock the mic.
For ages 16+. Bookings required.
