Stitched together: fabric as story

Age Group(s): Adults
Date: 15/06/2024
Start Time: 10:00 AM

Description:
Using fabric scraps, colour theory and hand stitching, create a piece of cloth that has meaning to you. This process can be meditative and used to make a bag, cushion cover or clothing decoration. Be inspired by workshop artist Therese Flynn-Clarke's creative approach to textile art. Have fun and explore the possibilities when using waste fabric!
Participants can bring along items that have a special meaning to them or tell a story. For example, fabric scraps, old clothing, doilies, lace and wool. All workshop materials provided. If you have needle, thread and scissors, you are welcome to bring your own along. For adults. Bookings required.
