 A Taiaha is a traditional weapon of the Māori of New Zealand,
made from either wood or whalebone. Used for short sharp
strikes and parring. Join us for this captivating demonstration
where you will see a father impart the ancient art of Māori
weaponry to his eager sons . Learn about the values, traditions,
concepts, and understandings derived around the warriors and
their weapons unique to the Māori culture.
