Think you've got what it takes to become Australia's next poetry slam champion? All you need is an original poem and 2 minutes on the mic to win over your online audience at the Logan Poetry Slam Heat. This year’s Logan Poetry Slam Heat will be at Extraction Artisan Coffee, located at 7/3375 Pacific Hwy, Slacks Creek.
Online registration only. Registrations close at 6pm on Thursday 15 September. Only the first 20 competitors to register may compete.
Author, musician, podcaster and poet J.M. Donellan will be the MC and guest performer. Judges from the audience choose two wordsmiths to go to the Queensland State Final of the Australian Poetry Slam. For ages 16 and above.

Competitors are also welcome to book into the free online Logan Slam Heat workshop with J.M. Donellan on Thursday 15 September, 3.30pm to 5pm.

 Logan Library events are delivered in line with the Queensland State Government's COVID Safe Business Framework.
